tottles story

hi, i’m steph – mum to a gorgeous toddler boy named leo, and the founder of tottles.

i studied fashion design at university and trained as a personal stylist, spending years curating timeless wardrobes. but when leo was born, i struggled to find clothing for him. the market lacked stylish, high-quality boys’ clothes that weren’t overly bright, covered in prints, or overpriced. so, i set out to create it myself.

As I delved deeper into business planning and watched more friends become parents for the second time, I noticed a lack of options for high-quality, gender-neutral clothing that could be passed down from brother to sister and beyond, all while withstanding the test of time (and toddlers). That’s why I committed to neutral, timeless colours and thoughtfully designed styles that mix and match with ease. This creates a versatile wardrobe with fewer pieces, making dressing easier and supporting a more sustainable way to dress little ones.

comfort and movement are at the core of every tottles design. little ones need the freedom to crawl, walk, run, and climb as they grow. so, all our clothes are made from 100% natural fabrics like organic cotton, linen, and wool – soft, breathable, and gentle on delicate skin. when manmade fabrics are needed, we carefully select recycled materials. we work closely with trusted, ethical partners to make sure our clothes are not only beautiful but also responsibly made.

sustainability isn’t an afterthought at tottles – it’s woven into everything we do. we aim to reduce our footprint through better choices, transparency, and lasting design. every piece is built to last well beyond one child, encouraging rewear, hand-me-downs, and mindful fashion habits. and our fit is intentionally slightly oversized so your tot can wear each piece longer, supporting durability and longevity.

Thank you for supporting Tottles and joining me on this journey. I’m excited to help you dress your tot(s) in cozy, long-lasting, and thoughtfully designed pieces.
